Project Overview
KSN provided cost consulting services for The Distillers Building, Dublin.
The Distillers Building is four to seven storeys tall and was designed with sensitivity to its historic surroundings, retaining a portion of its original two-story limestone walls. These are followed by a contemporary design that is recessed at the upper levels and rises to a maximum height of seven storeys. This structure benefits from a large, centrally located atrium that floods the interior with natural light. It features glazed panels, tall colonnades, and a mix of retail and mixed uses on the street level.
It is located above a double basement that contains 47 car parking spaces, 188 bicycle spaces, and extensive shower and changing facilities. The first through sixth floors feature expansive, light-filled floor plates organised around a central access core. Terraces are located on the roof and are accessible from the fifth and sixth floors.
The project was completed in summer 2022.
