Project Overview
KSN & KSN Project Management provided cost consulting & project management services for Kennedy Wilson’s new Clancy Quay development in Dublin.
Clancy Quay is one of the largest conservation projects ever completed in Ireland. A former military barracks dating back to the 1600s, the project included archaeological discoveries, which were documented and designated as national monuments. The brief included the design of contemporary buildings to be sensitively placed within the context of the heritage aspect of the site. Modest additions to some buildings, contemporary in nature to contrast the new and old, were designed and built.
The Clancy Quay development includes residential, commercial, retail, leisure, childcare, educational spaces, and a business centre. Major public spaces formed an essential part of the design brief. Most recent developments included the completion of Cambridge Square, an integrated public space that includes hard and soft landscape finishes. KSNPM’s scope of works included administration of the development budgets, services consultancy, contract formation, design team fee negotiations, statutory requirements, procurement strategies, tenders, contract formation, and preparation of monitoring reports for the funding organisations.
