Project Overview
KSN provided full cost consulting services to Hibernia REIT Plc for 2 Cumberland Place, Dublin.
This project consisted of an eight-story office building with a basement. The finished project expands on the original offices by adding a coffee pavilion and approximately 5,376 sq.m of office space to the ground level. The completed superstructure is steel framed with seven levels framed with composite concrete and metal deck.
The building facade is set back on the ground floor, and a two-storey basement formed in-situ concrete floor spans approximately two-thirds of the building’s footprint. The completed development includes ten car parking spaces, nine new showers, 134 new bicycle spaces, an electric car charging station, four new lifts, a designated loading bay, a green roof, and photovoltaic roof panels.
2 Cumberland Place is LEED Platinum and Wired Score Platinum certified, with an A3 BER rating. This project was designed in accordance with the SEAI’s Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) principles and meets all of the NZEB’s key metrics.
